Hey, I’m sure you’re in a good mood because you’ve heard of the good news! Who won’t be happy when we have a long weekend ahead of us! What are you guys up to? If you have not planned anything yet or still wondering what to do for the long weekend, I’ve got some ideas for you! That is something you should enjoy and it is certainly worth it if you will be able to spend it productively.

Suggested Activities for the Long Weekend
1. General cleaning @ home 🏡

This is your chance to finally clean your home. It’s not that I’m saying that you don’t do it all–sometimes we’re busy with work that we don’t have the time for it. Now that you have the time, here are some things that you can do:
- Disinfect the area to make your home pleasant to live in. You can also play with a few colors—paint the walls or put on a new wallpaper. 🧱
- Declutter, organize things, and before you throw things away, you can put aside whatever you can give for donation.
- Decorate and set the mood for the holiday season 🎄🎅 If you haven’t thought of a theme for Christmas decorations yet, you can draft for a checklist instead.
2. Netflix night 🍿or movie date 🎞️🎥
For those who just want to spend the long weekend at home, this is also perfect for you. You can watch your fave K-dramas or probably something new!
3. Travel ✈️🧳

Well, this is something that you can do. You can book an international/domestic tour package or a staycation. It doesn’t matter whether you’re traveling solo, with family or friends. This is an opportunity for you to unwind and enjoy. Remember, this is perfect because you don’t have to file for a leave, so don’t let this chance pass. Just expect that most hotels are already fully-booked, since the people are also taking advantage of the long weekend.
4. Family bonding 👨👩👧

For busy parents who don’t have time for their kids, it’s an opportunity to make up with them. A family outing will be perfect! To be sure though, before planning this, simply ask the kids and your better half how do they want to spend the long weekend with you. Sometimes what counts is your presence and your time for them.
5. Me-time
Don’t forget to give yourself some love. You deserve this break, believe me! Here are some suggested activities:
- Book for a relaxing full body massage or pamper yourself with a body scrub or skin treatment.
- Go to a salon for a hair treatment.
- Get some sleep and rest. 💤😴
- Go for a solo trip (for soul-searching).
6. Catch up with friends

You can also use the long weekend to connect or catch up with your friends. If it’s not possible to have a coffee date with them, simply call or send them a private message.
7, Shopping therapy 🛍️🛒
You can shop now for Christmas decorations or even for Christmas presents. If you don’t want to go out, you can always do it online.
8. Visit your loved ones in the cemetery 🪦
Make time to visit your departed loved ones this long weekend. If you want to avoid traffic and the crowd, you can also choose to visit several days before or after November 1 (All Saints Day) and November 2 (All Souls Day). If you’re having second thoughts, or you have scheduled a lot of things on your list, think again. This is something you shouldn’t miss. That’s why we have this long weekend anyway–so we have the time to visit them in their grave. 🪦and offer them flowers and prayers.
9. Do your pending tasks.
Of course, we’re not a superhero,🦸 so we can’t do everything at home or at work. This is your chance to do those pending tasks. Put them first before you go on vacation.
This is just some of my suggested activities. You can add more if you extra time. Have a fabulous long weekend, everyone! ENJOY!
Love,
