During the pandemic, we realized how important and convenient it is to have our transactions online – it saves time and effort, and most of all, it is safe. With the threat of the deadly virus, a person may be reluctant to travel, particularly if there are many people on the site. It is also a risk to us whenever we go out even if we follow the security protocols. Despite of these challenges, life must go on— people need to work in order to make a living; students need to continue their studies; engaged couples have to tie the knot, and families and friends eat out and travel to simply enjoy life. To make this possible and to move forward, most businesses and institutions need valid identification. To have a valid piece of identification such as a passport or driver’s license, you must submit a copy of your PSA birth certificate. It’s a relief that you can request your certificates (birth, death, CENOMAR) via PSA online service, which you can access online. The document/s that you have requested will also be delivered at your home! In this article, I will be sharing about my ordering experience from PSA Helpline.ph.
There are 3 steps for you to get started. Here’s what I have done.
PSA Online Ordering Process
1. Request your certificates via PSA online
February 6, 2022 (Sunday)
I ordered a copy of birth certificates for my 3 kids via PSA Helpline.ph. . It only took me a couple of minutes to complete the details of the application. I just went through the information I entered and submitted it. Because I requested my children’s birth certificates, I entered my information first, including my maiden name and current last name, delivery address, telephone number, and valid ID.
After I submitted the request, I have received a confirmation via text message and email with the reference number and the payment channels where I can settle the payment.
2. SETTLE THE PAYMENT 🧾
Each birth certificate is P365.00 inclusive of the delivery charges.
There are different payment options where you can settle the payment and you can do it online–isn’t that cool? I hate going to the bank and wait in the long queue.

Update: January 8, 2022 (Tuesday)
I have received an update via email that they were already processing my requests.
This afternoon, I received an email confirmation that the PSA certificates were already released. Wow, that’s fast!
3. WAIT FOR THE DELIVERY 🚚
Update: January 9, 2022 (Wednesday)
I have received an update via email that the PSA certificates that I requested are already out for delivery ‼️ So, I think those will be delivered tomorrow.
(I will be updating this post as soon as I have received the certificates that I have ordered from PSA Helpline)
For Metro Manila residents, it usually takes 3-4 working days and for outside Metro Manila, expect 3-8 working days. Since I am from Antipolo, Rizal, I am expecting my orders to arrive either on Friday-Tuesday next week.
Date of ordering- Feb 6-2022 (Sunday)
Delivery Date: Feb. 11, 2022 (Friday)
It took 5 working days for me to receive the PSA certificates (probably because Antipolo is outside Metro Manila). I receive updates too via email re the status so I didn’t have to call or follow up on them.
I got a call from Marvin of 2Go Express, he informed me that he will deliver the PSA certificates today. He asked for directions to our place. I thought it would take him one or two hours because he will be coming from Tanay. I also thought he was joking, but I didn’t turn off the phone since he said it will just be a few minutes and he will be here. I think his motorcycle has wings, hehe– it seems he flew all the way here.
It’s important that the one who requested the certificates is personally there to receive the copies. Make sure that you have a valid ID (the one that you indicated to present when you requested a copy online thru PSA Helpline.PH.
My Overall Experience
