New Year, New Beginnings! Oh,so how do we prepare for it? Since we still have a few days left before #NYE, I listed the things that I should accomplish. Yes, dear! I’m sharing my New Year Checklist with you just in case you are also busy and you are figuring out how to prepare. This is just to give an idea, huh because we may differ in personality, preference, and perspective.
Declutter & Organize Everything
New Year means having a clean and organized home/workplace. We have started doing this before Christmas and we were pleased to see the results. Hubby repainted the walls and we got rid of the things we don’t need at all. The thing is, we are not yet through with the general cleaning. In our home, we have a lot of eyesore areas, so I’m thinking of placing small stuff in boxes to clear them out. We also need to disinfect all areas and give it a brand new look.
Finalize the NYE menu
I have done a mistake in ordering our food for Christmas Eve. We actually loved the food, but we should have not ordered a la carte. I think group meals would be enough (just enough for 6 pax). I am still finalizing what to order (but more on round and of course, we won’t miss the sweets and fruits).
Finalize the NYE and NYD Look and outfits
It’s a tradition to have polka dots for New Year’s outfit because the dots symbolize money. There’s nothing to lose anyway if we will follow and it’s fun! Shane and I already have red and white polka skirt, but I am still thinking what top to match with that. Something glittery would be an option since I didn’t get any periwinkle themed outfits. I will be uploading our holiday OOTD soon!
Plan my 2022 Content Calendar 📅
Based from my experience, it was a time-saver and I have somehow managed to keep my online presence with a content calendar. I am still finalizing everything including the marketing ideas for my business. I’m learning about the new trends so I can provide fresh and quality content for my personal and business social media channels.
Settle my bills and unfinished tasks if possible
It’s good to start 2022 with settled bills and if possible, finish everything that is due at the end of 2021. If you haven’t
Write your New Year’s Resolutions
I already have started writing my goals for 2022 and I am positive and hopeful that I will be able to achieve them. No matter how challenging it is, we have to make our move to execute our plans and achieve our goals. Cheers to our success in 2022!
Love,
