Happy Tummy: Breakfast Buffet @ Discovery Suites

Part of our stay in Discovery Suites include the free buffet breakfast for 4 adults.  Since I brought my daughter with us, I paid half of the buffet price which is P400+.  We were able to go to Restaurant 5 at about past 6am and there were Koreans already for the breakfast.   They are strict with the dress code– smart casual attire only and no casual shorts or sleeveless are alowed since that is a business hotel.

I have taken photos of their foods served for breakfast.  There were variety of foods to choose from and I was quite pleased with my experience on that day.

Of course the kids went to the cereals station and chose their favorite chocolate cereals 🙂

I cannot skip chicken if ever there is any in the buffet.  I only have gotten few pieces because I would like to try the other dishes as well.

I’ve tried the hash brown potatoes and they were tasty.

I was too busy taking photos and assisting the kiddos in getting their meals that I totally forgot to taste this 🙁

I know I’m in a diet (It just doesn’t look that I am since I am still not in shape, hehehe).  I couldn’t have breakfast also without having fried rice in my plate, but I only had 1 cup to be safe.

I love pasta but there’s something with pesto sauce that I didn’t like– too salty.

I also had a slice of vegetable pizza and it was so yummy.

I had a bowl of egg drop soup and it was good.  Usually, if I do not like the soup, I don’t get to finish it, but not this time 🙂

The kids had a glass each of Dalandan Juice.  As much as I would like to have a glass of juice also, I already had a cup of hot chocolate.

I had a carrot cake– I forgot to get a piece of cinnamon roll.  I wanted to have a slice of bread and butter spread but I might overeat, hehe!

Hubby enjoyed the fresh fruits.

We all visited the egg station.  My son Kyle requested for sunny side-up, my daughter and I had scrambled eggs and hubby had the omelette.

My breakfast

To sum up my tummy’s experience at Restaurant 5. I will give a 4.5 out of 5 stars.  Yes, I did enjoy the buffet breakfast.  I just didn’t eat much 🙂
